Kimberly D. Klein, DVM
DVM/Owner
Dr. Klein graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and holds additional degrees in Animal Science and Veterinary Science from the same institution. She has practiced mixed animal medicine in Castroville, Lytle, San Antonio, and Helotes. A Helotes native, Dr. Klein grew up in the area and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1985.
Passionate about animal care, Dr. Klein is dedicated to healing her patients and ensuring their quality of life. She shares her home with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, show pigs, horses, cattle, chickens, and ducks.
Dr. Klein is actively involved in her community through organizations such as 4-H, the Helotes Rodeo Association, and the San Antonio Livestock Show. She is also deeply engaged in her church and local activities. Her practice is rooted in her values of faith, family, and friendship.
Dr. Klein resides on a ranch with her husband, Brian, and their daughter, Kinslee.

William G. Rasch, DVM
DVM
Dr. Rasch, a Central Texas native, grew up in Boerne, where he competed in riding Appaloosa horses. He graduated from Boerne High School in 2003 and went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Marine Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas A&M University in Galveston. In 2014, he completed his veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Caribbean, finishing his clinical rotations at the University of Florida.
Dr. Rasch joined the practice in March 2015 and has since become a valued team member. He has a particular passion for working with a variety of animals, including cattle, sheep, goats, rodents, snakes, tortoises, and chickens. Known for his dedication, he is often the one out in the field assisting with calvings or treating colicky horses after hours.
In his personal life, Dr. Rasch recently married and settled into a home by the river. He shares his life with two lively cats and a small dog. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, sports, cartoons, and collecting comics.

Hannah Murdoch
Sr. Technician/Administrator
Hannah is a veterinary technician and administrator with 15 years in the field. Born in San Antonio, she spent several years of her childhood there before moving to Alaska, where she began her career in veterinary medicine, working with the wild birds of Alaska. Her career progressed after returning to Texas in 2013, where she worked in general practice and gained experience at emergency and specialty hospitals throughout the state. Outside the clinic, Hannah enjoys hiking, yoga, and meditation, as well as attending concerts, painting, building Lego sets, and reading. She has a young daughter and several rescue animals that fill her life and schedule with joy. Hannah started with Hooves & Paws in October 2024.

Chelsea Tramel
Sr. Veterinary Assistant
Chelsea has two beloved furbabies at home: Sawyer, her cat, and Buck, her dog. Her passion for working with animals began at just six years old and has been a lifelong dream. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys reading, playing video games, and attending concerts. She takes great pride in providing care for clients’ four-legged family members. Chelsea has been a valued member of the Hooves & Paws team since October 2019.

Kayla Reinagel
Veterinary Assistant
Kayla Reinagel enjoys spending time with their two horses, two dogs, and three pygmy goats outside of work. Their lifelong passion for animals began at a very young age, leading to a seven-year career in the veterinary field. Since childhood, Kayla has always dreamed of working with animals, a goal they’ve diligently pursued. In their free time, they love attending summer concerts and enjoying relaxing days at the beach. Being part of the veterinary community has fueled their personal growth and helped them build lasting connections with a true family of friends.

Cheyenne Edwards
Veterinary Assistant
Cheyenne has been with Hooves & Paws since August 2022. Although she is relatively new to veterinary medicine, animals have always played a central role in her life, from helping run the family horse auction to showing chickens in FFA. Her passion for veterinary medicine has always been clear. Outside of work, Cheyenne enjoys spending time with her two dogs and cat and occasionally visits Floores’s dancehall with her fiancé and friends. What she loves most about working at Hooves & Paws is the constant learning and the opportunity to care for all kinds of critters.

Bucky Goza
Animal Care
Bucky Goza was born and raised in East Texas and moved to Helotes in November 2023. He married Laurie in September 2024. He has one son and two daughters. Bucky enjoys working out, hiking, and spending time at the beach with their dog, Kona. He began working at Hooves & Paws in September 2024.

Stephanie Massey
Remote Customer Service Representative
Stephanie’s journey with Hooves & Paws began in May 2018. She holds a B.S. in Agriculture, specializing in Animal Science, from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, earned in 2009. In 2023, she moved back to the East Coast to be closer to her family, prompting a shift from her previous role as Senior Technician and Staff Supervisor to her current position as a remote Customer Service Representative. Her passion for animals has been a central part of her life since childhood, having developed a deep appreciation and respect for them at a young age. Her career path started in an animal shelter and has led her to her current role at Hooves & Paws.
